MaliBox launch
L'Institut français du Mali a procédé au lancement officiel de nos Malibox en présence des étudiants de l'université UCAO et de l'école EPHEP Smart School. La MaliBox fonctionne sur une DataCup configurée et chargée avec du contenu spécifique aux besoins identifiés. Elle permet ainsi de donner accès à une bibliothèque numérique hors connexion.
The French Institute in Mali has been involved for many years in collecting cultural content to enrich Culturethèque culturetheque.com and agreed to share all MaliBox content with all international broadcast rights in our common resources. We have worked hard to integrate these resources, and they are now accessible in the DataCup common repository.
Mobile Library
The MaliBox cultural collection offers an interesting diversity, including :
- Concerts such as La Nuit du Taman,
- Feature stories,
- Malian tales in French and Bambara,
- Radio programs such as Muso Kunda's Le magazine de la femme malienne
- and so much more...
These are now available to set up art workshops for young people.
In all, over 2,800 resources from our basic package were also loaded onto the DataCups.
Handling of the DataCups
Two of the three DataCups acquired by the French Institute in Mali, loaded with MaliBox content, were handed over to the SMART School university and the Wa Kamissoko school complex in December 2023.
Thanks to this initiative, schoolchildren and students now have access to more resources, opening up new educational and cultural perspectives.
