Training for Teachers

Pascal Betschen, co-founder of the DataCup project, visited the BMCE Bank Foundation headquarters in Morocco for a 2-day training course for teachers, educational coordinators and supervisors from the 4 schools of the Medersat.com network. This training enabled the teachers to receive the DataCups generously donated by the French Institute of Morocco.

The BMCE Bank Foundation works to protect the environment and promote education in rural areas. It finances the construction of schools to raise community awareness of the value of traditional architectural and cultural heritage, and above all to ensure that children feel comfortable at school and work in the best possible conditions.

On the agenda:
- Getting to know the DataCup → user manual
- Analysis of existing content (2,500 resources)
- Projection of future content (stories in Arabic, etc.)
- Customization of the public interface

Deployment in Schools

The DataCups made their debut in the classrooms of the Medersat.com network shortly after the training session!

Thanks to this innovative hardware, teachers will be able to access digital resources without the need for an Internet connection.

This training has strengthened the ability of teachers to offer quality education to students in rural schools.

And our approach goes even further: students benefit from an introduction to the digital world in a secure environment, preserving their concentration. Our approach enables education free from the distractions, inappropriate content and unwanted advertising of the World Wide Web. Resources are carefully selected to ensure a positive, focused learning experience.

One step closer to quality education!

We would like to thank the French Institute of Morocco for its continued trust.
